Creamy Shrimp Linguine

Ingredients

  • 400g large Argentinian shrimp, peeled
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 200ml tomato sauce
  • 500ml heavy cream
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 300g linguine pasta
  • Salt & pepper
  • Optional: Parmesan cheese, fresh basil

Seasonings

  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp red paprika powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

Shrimp Marinade

  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp red paprika powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Shrimp: In a bowl, mix shrimp with olive oil, lemon juice, and seasonings. Coat well.
  2. Cook the Shrimp: Heat a bit of olive oil in a skillet. Cook shrimp for 1-2 minutes on each side until pink. Set aside.
  3. Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté until golden. Stir in tomato sauce and heavy cream. Simmer for 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook the Pasta: While the sauce simmers, cook linguine as per package instructions. Drain, reserving half a cup of pasta water.
  5. Combine: Add cooked shrimp and drained pasta to the sauce. Toss well, adding reserved pasta water if needed.
  6. Serve: Garnish with parsley and optional toppings. Enjoy!
